The Model SCV89 Sanitary RESEARCH CONTROLĀ® Valve is designed and manufactured to meet 3A Symbol Council standards. It is available in sizes 1" and 1-1/2" with Tri-ClampĀ® ends. The standard investment cast body provides a unit that is not only lightweight but also economical. Several innervalve sizes and characteristics are available in each size to suit most applications for modulating control valves.
The SCV89 is well suited to automated flow control in pharmaceutical, food and beverage production. Common uses are: pressure, temperature and flow control in fermentation reactors; control of gas blankets in vessels; catalyst and additive initiation; ingredient control in production processes.
